She was walking along the snake cage that was butted up against the banister that overhangs the stairs to protect from the 12 foot drop to the bottom of the stairs. I guess she wasnt paying attention and just walked right off but I was watching TV with my back to her and all of a sudden i hear a loud thump and a wail and i run for the stairs and shes sitting at the bottom with a stunned look on her face. i gave her a good feel over and she wasnt wincing at anything. thank gawd cats can land on their feet but she scared the bejeezus out of me ...poor girl....poor me...oh my nerves
