Petsmart stores honor website prices

Question:
This has been mentioned before within other topics, but I wanted to caption a new topic with this info because we can save ourselves some serious money. Petsmart stores will sell store stock items for prices listed on their website, which are always cheaper than the store price. For example, a FreshFlow fountain retails in the store for $37, and the website price is only $20. That's a savings of $17.
And here's how to do it: on the day you plan to buy something at Petsmart, look up the item on their website, and print out the description of the item with the online price. If you have the option in your page setup to include the date, print that as well, because you will probably be asked if you printed that today. Take it to the store and when you check out mention that you'd like the online price and show the cashier the printout. That's all there is to it!!

Answer:
Nice stuff!
Ive noticed more and more companies have huge differences in prices between store and website.
At the moment im trying to haggle between 2 stores. They both have promises saying they wont be beaten on price, yet one is £50 cheaper on a hoover I want. So ive emailed the other trying to get them to significantly beat that

Answer:
Great Deal!
Thanks for the info, Tim! I have known other places that offer similar deals, but never even thought about Petsmart...and they get a lot of my $!
I will certainly need to start being a "plan ahead" shopper, rather than the impulse shopper I am. I also need to learn to not visit Petsmart on adoption day...I want to bring them all home, but can't have any more than the 4 I already have, based on city code. I would take them all home, if I could
You pass on some to best info...thanks!
Answer:
Thanks....I learned about it here in the Cat Forum from another member, so just passing it on again with a little high profile so hopefully more members can take advantage of it.
