Has anyone read these cat books?
Question: I am placing an Amazon order. Trying to find a good book on cat behaviour especially with multiple cats since I am about to add cat #3 tomorrow and I wonder if I'm in for a wild ride. I am sure the dynamics with 3 cats is more complex than with just 2. 1) The Cat Who Cried for Help: Attitudes, Emotions, and the Psychology of Cats- Nicholas Dodman 2) What Is My Cat Thinking?: The Essential Guide to Understanding Pet Behavior by Gwen Bailey 3) Cat Vs. Cat: Keeping Peace When You Have More Than One Cat by Pam Johnson-Bennett Any better suggestions are also welcome. Thanks! =^..^= Micah, Levi & Jake =^..^= http://www.theanimalrescuesite.com/ Answer: I have The Cat Who Cried for Help. It's a good read, though at times disturbing. I also have "The New Natural Cat" by Anitra Frasier, which has been a helpful resource, if you are interested. Answer: Disturbing? How so? Does it discuss interpersonal relationships between cats? hierarchy etc.? I am familiar with "The New Natural Cat" by Anitra Frasier. Good book! =^..^= Micah, Levi & Jake =^..^= http://www.theanimalrescuesite.com/ Answer: I've read #1 and #3 and thought they're excellent. Answer: I've read #3 and really learned a lot even after having 3 cats for 5 years. Always remembering Onyx & Callie May Answer: I think I will get #1 and #3 since they seem pretty popular and helpful. =^..^= Micah, Levi & Jake =^..^= http://www.theanimalrescuesite.com/ Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
