my question is: my kitten[patches] is 7 months old and i was wondering if its ok for me to put a little catnip on her scratching post, the pet store guy said she's to young for catnip?

7 months is ok. I wouldn't give alot but it shouldn't hurt them anyway. you can always call your vet if you feel uncomfortable.
