Are there online resources for recommending vets?
Question: I think I'm looking for a holistic vet so that we can agree with him on raw diet... But short of going to the phone book, I don't really have any options to find a vet. I've been searching online but can't seem to find much. Thanks! Answer: The AHVMA (American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association) has a place where you can type your location and find Holistic vets in your area. http://www.ahvma.org/ http://www.ahvma.org/referral/index.html (where you can look up a holistic vet in your area) Take Care, Abhay PLEASE SPAY/NEUTER YOUR PET www.theanimalrescuesite.com - click once a day and feed an animal!!! www.therainforestsite.com - click once a day and help save an endangered animal!!! Answer: PM Dr. Jean. She might be able to recommend a good holistic vet in your area. Answer: Why a holistic vet? I would be inclined to use a normal vet - as long as the practice seems nice - ask to have a look out the back - you can tell if it's a good place or not. Do the nurses seem happy? Some vets do mistreat animals. I have seen it many times whilst locuming. be careful where you go. Take a look at my veterinay website - www.vetpro.co.uk Forums, photo gallery, cat news etc. Answer: Dr. Jean is a DVM (normal vet), and is also a holistic vet. She uses the best of both worlds. I'm sure she can recommend someone with excellent credentials. I would pm her with your question.
