i can't help but feel guilty about sweetie. i left her cage broken for one night- i woke up in the morning- i must have been about 7- i went downstairs- the broken piece of cage was gone- and my hamster lay dying on the floor of her cage. she'd eaten tthe sharp cage piece- she was choking and there was nothingi could do to help. i just had to sit there and watch her die.
its been 6 years- but it burns like it was yesterday.
have a good time at the bridge. i hope peanuts (you must remember sweetie- the old cat that smelt a little odd) can help you there.
