Alasse ~ Fish and tanks
Question: Some pics of my tanks over the years and as they are currently (well the ones set up anyway) Old set ups first: Aussie & Hoover (Tiger Oscars) Goldfish (small faintails) Goldfish (large) 2ft community (tropicals) Answer: Tanks they are now 4ft Goldfish ~ 2 large males, 1 meduim goldfish 2ft Tropical community tank ~ Tiger barbs, danios and cory cat Tanks empty (most have mice in them at the moment *L*) 1 x 4ft 1 x 3/1/2ft 2 x 2ft Various small tanks Answer: Nice tanks. I see lots of twinbar platies. My platies always end up too aggressive to keep with goldfish. Answer: The platys are not real...they are on the background sheet....they would end up as goldfish food otherwise....they look real though eh Answer: pretty goldfish. My big white and orange spotted koi died 2 nights ago. I miss him! I loved him so much he would swim along the side of the tank and beg for food! so cute! He was the biggest fish I've ever had and he lived for about 4 years. I got him when he was just a tiny little baby and he had grown tremendously!!! He was a sweet guy he even shared a tank with some little goldfish..... Answer: Gorgeous fish! Its so nice to see goldfish in tanks big enough for them. I'm sick and tired of seeing goldfish cramped in tiny quarters. Good job for providing good care for your fishies! Answer: Beautiful fish! Your tanks look really nice. Good job for providing good care for your fishies! Yes i know what you mean...these fish are actually rescue fish The lady was going to flush them down the toilet as she was sick of caring for them...they were in a 2ft tank that was filthy...far far too small for them...and i found out there was 3 of them in there (each fish is approx 20cm long)....but she flushed one prior to finding me who wanted them Poor things freaked when i put them in the big tank...not used to having so much space....but they have settled in nicely...and they are 2 truely beautiful boys....and i am pleased i managed to get them before their fate was sealed Answer: Stunning tanks!!!! Please come and aquascape mine for me! I just chuck in plants and let the fish move them as they please! Answer: Originally Posted by jackie Stunning tanks!!!! Please come and aquascape mine for me! I'd do it if i lived closer *L* When i get a place with a cement floor i'm going to get a 6 -8 ft....the ideas for aquascaping i;ve got for that...cant wait Answer: Some updated tank pics...some are a bit dark...i think i need a new tank light (cloudy pics are taken not long after setup) Goldie tank ~ Marmaduke, Garfield, Phantom, Scrat & Mater Answer: 2ft tropical (lost fish in here since last here...tank sprung a leak) 1 green tiger barb, 2 tiger barbs, 5 zebra danios & 2 albino cory cats \\ Answer: Wow! All your tanks are gorgeous! I ecspecially love your big goldfishies I love big goldfish And you definately know how to decorate tanks good Thanks for sharing the great pics with us. Answer: I had to buy a new 2ft tank....the old one sprung a leak again and i didnt notice as i'd been at the hospital for most of the night and still wasnt feeling to well for most of tnext day. When i got up it was soon obvious the tank had breathed its last Unfortunately i lost 2 cories and 3 danios...but managed to get the others into a bucket and hopefully they'll be fine So now i have a nice new one....its the standard rectangle shape but is higher than the old one. No background as yet...and needs more plants eventually Its half filled with rainwater and half town...so hopefully the PH should be lower...making it less stressful on the new additions that will be picked up in a few weeks Answer: I made some new tank decorations today....i think they should look good....and a heck of a lot cheaper than what you buy in the shops Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
