The goldfish are actually feeder fish that =never got eaten. they have been in the tank with the turtles now for about 4-5 years. So no, the turtles dont realy bother them. The tank is clear, because I am very anal, about water changes,a nd I have 3 filters running all the time. With Turtles and goldfish, being the two dirtiest critters to have in a tank together, you have to be very vigilant about water changes. Also notice that i have no stones on the bottom, that has helped tremendously with keeping the tank clean! Answer: Gorgeous goldies and turtles. How many goldies do you have? Answer: Originally Posted by IRescue452 Gorgeous goldies and turtles. How many goldies do you have? There is a total of 7 goldies. Answer: Thanks! Three filters are certainly alot but I bet they do the job I want to get a second filter for my 55 gallon someday, it would probably help my tank out alot, I just hate how expensive pet stores have their filters they make it so hard to buy new things lol. I congradulate you one such an awesome tank! Answer: Remember petsmart does price match to their website. I know somebody who printed out the webpage for a filter and got the price down from store price $125 to online price $77. Answer: Adorable feesh and turtles! That is a cute pleco, too! I congradulate you one such an awesome tank! I bought one of my filters at a flea Market still new in the box for 5bucks,. and another on E-Bay for 4 bucks, new in box. The original one I paid full price for, and it dosent work as well as the other two! I am looking to replace that one soon. It has been very necessary for me to keep 3 filters running, i am seriously considering 4, as if one goes, the tank sufferes greatly, very quickly! Since i have a lower water level than most tanks(for the turtles), i have to have underwater filters for mine, and they can be very expensive for a 75 gallon, that is another reason why I am greatful that I found such great deals on my filters.
