Lost another grandparent.... :(
Question: At 8:40 p.m. last night, my Grandma Ringle passed away. A little over a week ago she was admitted into the ICU with a staph infection. She was taken off the ventilator yesterday morning but held on until all of her family could be there. Then she opened her eyes, took a breath, and was gone. I feel lucky to have been blessed with knowing my grandparents. My mom's mom, Grandma Hollandsworth, is the sole remaining grandparent and I'm feeling very protective. My sisters and I are her only grandkids. My dad has not been well himself, so please think of him during this difficult time. The last time I saw my Grandma was around Christmas and she looked really good. I regret not spending more time with her. Grandma Ringle on the left, Grandma Hollandsworth on the right Answer: I'm so sorry Kimmy. Answer: Kimmy, I am SO sorry for your loss. ((((HUGS))))) Donna Answer: I am so sorry for your loss. Answer: I'm so sorry for your loss Kimmy. {{hugs}} Answer: Oh Kimmy, I am so sorry. She is a lovely lady and I know she cherished every moment she had with her family. What a wonderful picture of you and Andy and your two grandmothers. I hope you have a copy framed somewhere in your home. That is a wonderful thing to cherish. I was fortunate to know all 4 of my grandparents and we lost our last one at the age of 93 in 2000, my mom's mom. But I have wonderful memories of all 4 of them. I hope that in time you can sit back and remember her with joy. Logan Answer: Sorry to hear of your loss, Kimmy. You and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.
