Please do not start a new thread every time you want someone to make you a signature graphic or an avatar, or each time you want to volunteer to make one for someone. There are already a bazillion threads on this topic - search through them and add your post to an already existing thread. Otherwise, the whole General Forum gets cluttered with lots of nearly identical threads, and other topics people are interested in get lost in the shuffle.
In fact, if you are about to post any thread, do a search first to see if that question has already been answered, or that fact already posted! It'll keep Pet Talk easier for people to browse.

Oftentimes that still does not make it right to just "steal" images to use, even if you give credit, you still did not have permission in the first place.

I think what she means is that under some peoples signatures is written -
'thanks *whoever* for the great sig'
- or something similar - and perhaps to PM the people so named and ask them to make a signature.
