Nebo, Keva, and I will be attending Strut Your Mutt again (well, this is Keva's first time ). The event is on MAY 19th 2007. We are having a Pet Talk meeting this year as well see this thread if you are interested in coming http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?t=120686 If you are coming, make sure you choose the Pet Talk Pack as your dog pack. We can compete for the GOLDEN MUTT award as a pack. Everyone coming is welcome to set up their own fundraising page....if you do please send me the link so I can add a link and your names/photos of your dogs to this thread. Please help us win this year!
Last year with some wonderful donations (mostly from PTers!) we were able to raise $405! Nebo and Keva's goal this year is to reach $350 or more!
All of the donations benefit No More Homeless Pets in Utah, which is a program of the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. The money doesn't just go to help dogs!
Each $20 can spay or neuter one cat; each $50 can spay or neuter one dog; and each $100 can rescue a homeless dog or cat and keep them safe until they are adopted into a permanent, loving home.
The same as every year, I'm offering a free 9x12 colored pencil or pencil portrait for a $100 donation on Nebo and Keva's page. The portrait is of one pet, if you'd like more than one pet it's $50 for each extra pet. The money you donate goes to help homeless pets, I don't keep any of it. I'll also be happy to make signatures/avatars for anyone who donates.
You can donate quick and easy ONLINE with a credit card (it's secure) just visit Nebo and Keva's Page Put Amy Quarnberg as the participant name if it asks for one. If you would like to donate by cash, check, or money order (make them out to No More Homeless Pets in Utah) you can mail me the donations. My address is the same as on the Christmas Card list/Gift Swap, if you don't have that pm me and I'll give it to you. *If you donate online you can choose to remain anonymous* Every donation counts and is appreciated, no matter how much!
The event is on MAY 19th so any donations have to be made before that day! There will be LOTS and LOTS of photos for all of you guys! THANKS!!
