Question:
A couple weeks ago my dad got an e-mail about this Trading Spouses show. The casting director said they were looking for families fast, as they have already started their new season and don't have all the shows they need. The guy said our family looked fun and interesting. We've done all the paperwork and interviews. We were accepted and we're gonna be on TV!
My mother is going to be gone for 10 days and we will be sent a "new mom". We don't know who they are sending until she gets here, but the guy said something about a stricked big mouthy lady. This should be fun.
I'm thrilled because we get $50,000! Unfortinatly, the new mom gets to choose how we spend our money. But,me and my pups are going to be on national TV!...the chickens too!

Well, when the "new mom" gets there, tell her if she harms one hair or one feather of any of your pets, she'll have all of Pet Talk to answer to!

Really cool!!! We were also asked to do it a few years ago but resisted because just at the time we were considering it, there was an episode on where the new mom got rid of all the pets. Hubby threw down a fit and said "NO WAY some other woman was going to get rid of our pets!" The money sure would have been nice though.

That is so cool! We've got a similar TV show over here in England, it's called Wife Swap and I love it! Not to put you off, but they always put the weirdest of matches together!!!
What channel is it on...I wonder if we'll be able to see over here?

There is both Wife Swap and Trading Spouses! Different channels, different days.
I think Wife Swap is on Mondays and Trading Spouses is on Wednesdays. Not sure!
