It was posted that we should vote for a woman just to see what would happen... it is not sexist to insist we will not vote for a candidate just out of curiousity toawrds how their sex organs will affect the office.
The point was clearly made that those of us who disagreed with the statement thought that the individual in question for an office was a much bigger consideration that their plumbing.

I have never voted straight ticket.

There is a difference between lip-service solidarity clearly meant to show symbolic brotherhood with a troubled people, and fudging residency to qualify for an office, or expecting people to really believe you've secretly always been in your heart a Jew while you were working the Southern Christians as 'your people'.
I mean, Kennedy didn't use that statement to run for German political office, trying to dupe everyone into actually believing he was a good ol' boy from their side of the wall. Hilary did in New York. The saddest part is that she pulled it off.
