Question:
My Dog recently had a UTI, recently treated with antibiotics. Yesterday I noticed one time he urinated, there was blood. Has a urinalysis done, and came back fine. But now there is another issue.. Im bringing him to the vet tomorrow, but he is panting and when he lies down on the floor there is always a "grunting noise" or sorta like a double breath to try to catch his breath. Any ideas on what might be causing this??

Hi, I am so sorry about your dog. I would get him back to the vet a.s.a.p. or to another vet he may have been misdiagnosed. Blood in the urine is often kidney failure or kidney damage. It can be treated with diet, antibiotics, etc. if caught in time. Good Luck!
