Question:
I have had my dog for about a year and recently since i moved back with my parents she has been itching like crazy. Its not fleas I took care of that, and I tried a little of baby oil in water to take care of dry skin so its not that. Is it possible for my dog to be allergic to cats? My mom has two, and when ever I come home she itches like crazy But when I lived on my own and came to visit she would do the same thing, then I would go back to my house she would be fine, almost immediately. So I am guessing that she is allergic to cats. I dont see how it would be any other allergies concerning the lack of distance between my other house and my parents. Sometimes I catch her eating the cat food (well actually about once a day), could that be it. I just feel bad about her being so itchy, I mean she is like pulling out hair and cutting her skin. I jsut dont know what else to do, cause I can't afford the tests and stuff for allergies jsut to find out that she is allergic to cats.

It would more like be the cat food, here I put my cats food up on a small table so the dogs are not getting in to it
