Question:
i have a grey tabby.. and he LOVES green olives... not really to eat them... just bats the tiny bits i give him chews em up a little.. but he nuzzles my fingers when they have been in the jar... it is healthy for him.. is it normal... and is there a reason for it??

My cat does EXACTLY the same thing.

I've never seen my cat get sick from this but I'm not a vet.

My guess is a little bit of olive juice can't hurt.

One of my cats likes olives too. And Tuna water, and lettuce, pickles, milkshakes, and pretty much anything. I'd say as long as he's not eating TOO many olives and doesnt end up getting sick, your cat is ok. Just be sure to always have fresh water available especially since olives can be really salty.
