Question:
My dog coughs/hacks periodically....and has started drooling. He doesn't seem ill although he does seem to have an awful lot of drool/mucous....i'm going to take him to the vet but was wondering if anyone had any idea to what this may be? He was in the kennel last June but got the kennel cough shot at the time, he's up to date on his rabies. He eats and drinks and has been wormed....just this recent hacking and drooling...any ideas?

I really don't know, but the drooling combined with the hacking makes me think there may be something lodged somewhere in his mouth or throat.
