my 9 week old brittany has started to walk around the room with her tail down and will not settle down. She will lie down for a couple of seconds and then back to the pacing around. The other night she also began to drool a lot and her eyes seemed to water. I took her to the vet and they took blood and she had elevated alkp levels. the vet said it could be due to bone growth but we did a liver test and are currently waiting on results. So far when this happens (three times in the last week) she is fine the next day. It seems she just can't get comfortable and she doesn't look good when this happens (sad looking eyes) Any thoughts? Thanks a lot.

Help her get into a comfortable position. Maybe get her to concentrate on something, like giving her a toy, or treat, or raw bone to chew. This condition doesn't sound good. Tell the vet to hurry with the results of the test!

What results did you get on your puppy? We have an eight month old schnauzer that is doing the same thing. So far, we have not been able to determine anything. She is going back to the vet this morning for more blood work.
