Question:
I just found out that my sweet kitty has Diabetes ,just wondering if anyone out there has been through this before , and any advice as to what to expect/places to buy cheap insulin ,and how did it afect your cat !

Hi.....I am sorry you got this diagnosis but it is really treatable and you can be a big part of your cat's feeling a lot better...

There is a feline diabetes board that helped me to help my cat Abby both get regulated and then into diet control.....www.felinediabetes.com

It takes a little time to not feel overwhelmed but it does become a new kind of normal.....

Please feel free to ask any questions and do introduce yourself at the Feline Diabetes Message Board....there are people online 24/7 and it moves quickly over there so you always get an answer as you need it ....

Treating dabetes doesn't have to break the bank...I have a lot of links to info and research......if you would like to pm me...I could talk further or.....sign in at the message bard and recieve a ton of support from people who were right where you are now....

Hang in there...I know it is scary but it does get better!

Abby, my sugarcat, has been insulin free for 10 months no thanks to a low carb, wet diet...(no dry, has higher carbs), learning to hometest......and the FDMb's support and experience

yeah thanks ,I would appreciate all the info I can get concerning this.
I will also try that Website ! My cat is just getting so ,that he doesn't want us near him and looks so sad and drained ,it breaks my heart to see him like this .He isn't the happy loving playfull little guy we all know and love. I'm afraid I might loose him before much longer .
