Question:
every night our 9 week old dog wakes up and starts crying and dragging his behind around the floor....when i check i see nothing wrong...what could be causing this? it started just over 1 week ago

puppy may be experiencing "anal gland" problems. you should take puppy to vet, to see if indeed that is what is happening. some dogs, do not express everything when they poop, and then some of the poo stays within the anal glands. they may be full and need to be expressed.....good luck

Hi Zeus, welcome to the board. Where did you get your puppy from? Was he wormed when you got him? If so, do you know what was used? Have you taken him to the vet yet for his vaccinations?

It definitely sounds like he has worms as he's a bit too young to have an anal gland problem already. If you've taken him to the vet (hopefully) what did he/she say?

BTW, what breed is he and we'd love to see some pics.
