I'm not sure what is wrong with her eye. It has a white, blood shot, swelled knot looking thing right under her pupil next to her tear ducks. She will be nine years old this year. Does anyone know what this could be?

thanks for the feedback everyone. i had already planned on taking her to the vet, i just wanted to know if anyone had seen anything like this before. my cousin had a cockapoo who had something similar to happen to his eye. he went blind and died a few months later. [i found this out just a little bit ago.] thanks again.

I found out what was wrong with it. A few weeks ago, my cat scratch her in the eye but I didnt think anything of it because when I looked at it, it didnt appear to have anything wrong with it. The vet said that she has a scratch on her eye and it has an infection in it. He gave me some eyedrops to put in it and said that she would be okay.
