Question:
Somebody Kita
Got herself into some kibble last night after she ate her raw dinner, and vomited like a mad dog.... she isnt used to kibble anymore and by the looks of it, she gorged Anyway... most of her meal came out much like it went in ( Prin if your in here I warned you ) whole kibbles, bones and meat...

So... should i fast her today or feed her bland??? If Bland is the best plan... what should i feed her?

How many times a day do you feed? I would probably just feed normally. Sounds like she just ate too much. If you really want to be cautious, skip one meal, then feed normal again.

Since she's acting like her normal self I would feed bland tonight. You can boil some chicken or lean hamburger and mix with rice.

been there, done that I would fast for 12 hours (give water and maybe some broth) to give her tummy a break, make sure her system is "clean" and then feed normally. when they say "to be sick like a dog", now you know why! LOL amazing how they can purge themselves eh?

remember that many raw feeders fast their dogs for a day once in a while anyways, so it won't hurt kita. guess you'll put that kibble under lock and key from now on eh?

I agree- fast for at least one meal and if she's still ill during the fast, maybe another 12 hours.

Agreed.

If you know it was the kibble that made her sick, there's no reason to upset her stomach further by offering her yet a different diet. Just fast her to rest her stomach (or don't... it's your call), then offer her usual meal.

Decided on a fast... figured it wouldnt hurt to give her a break... In the morning im gonna give her half of her meal and then the rest at night tomorrow.
