Question:
I have a 14 year old dog that looks well & healthy (apart from an arthritis problem) For her age she looks great, is happy, likes to play, no problems apart from this smelly bottom problem she has aquired over the last month.
When she goes for a poop I have to wash her bottom because she smells as though she has had diarroeah (Spelt wrong sorry)
I have examined her poop several times & it looks fine, no blood, not too hard or too soft. It isn't an anal gland problem cause i've had that with my other dog & know the diference. I stopped her metacam for the last 2 weeks & no change. there has been no change in her diet.
If I dont clean her bottom every single time she leaves little skid marks on her dog bed & it starts to stink the house out. I have to wash her bed neally every day.
does anyone have any idea what the problem is?

Well if you're sure it isn't anal glands then maybe its from parasites.
