Question:
So i the vet told me that i have to keep Rolands (kitten) ears clean to prevent ear mites and such. im a little nervous about doing it. i have some ear cleaning stuff (the liquid) and the powder that is supposed to go in after to dry up excess moisture. I dont remember ever having to do this to any other cat. do you guys clean your cats ears? and if so how often?

I clean everyones ears once a week here. ( had an ear mite situation a while back) I only use the liquid though, never heard of the powder??

I use the ear wipes on Jesse. She's a weird dog and loves when you stick your fingers in her ears and shake them around so it's real easy to just wrap the wipe overtop and give her a good "shake" in her ears.

Erykah what kind of stuff do you use? apparently you are supposed to soak up excess liquid. i guess if it hasnt been an issue for your cats its probably not totally necessary??!!

I only have dogs but brees ears hang down so i have to clean them once a week. i use the "vet care" witch is liquid for dogs and cats never had to use powder, and was never told to.
