Dog has open sore on eyebrow!! and what looks like scratch on lower part of jaw

Question:
I came home today and noticed my dog has a completely circular open sore on her eyebrow, and it looks like a scratch on lower part of jaw (with all hair rubbed away w a little bllod spots hear and there) She is constantly playing with the cat, and my mother said she thinks the cat just probably messed her up, and the scratch on lower jaw looks like that could be it, but the eyebrow looks just like the open sores my last dog got when he was dying, (he had some kind, of dog AIDS, i got him from a shelter and he wasnt vaccinated properly as a pup before i got him, and he got sick but his imune sysytem gave out and he couldnt get better, and his cold turned to phnomonia, and he died) and I am really really scared... I just dont think the cat could leave a completely circular wound on her... And i cant get into a vet untill monday, i didnt notice it this moring before i left or yesterday and I am constantly playing with her, and it is kind of noticable, but is it possible that the cat could leave a completely circular wound... she threw up this morning too, just yellow egg looking stuff, but she does that every so often... I am going to take her to the vet monday morning, but I am totaly freaking out... if anyone knows if the cat could leave a wound like that please tell me... Thank you

Answer:
Yellow is bile. Her belly was probably too empty. A change to better food or a meal before bed usually prevents that.

For the cut, not sure we can give you any advice without seeing the dog...

Answer:
The dog may have had his head under some kind of table at the time and when the cat scratched him, he got startled and banged his head skinning some of the skin off, which would produce a circular wound.

Give it a little wash with soap and water and dab dry if you have some neosporin you can put a tiny bit on.

If penny sized or smaller and flesh underneath has not been damaged or not bleeding it will heal and close up on it's own, otherwise should be checked by a vet as it may need to be stitched up and possibly antibiotics prescribed.

I have greyhounds which are very thin skinned and cuts and scrapes are normal around here, it is kind of like having children that get scrapes and cuts, and you treat much the same when it is the small stuff, and watching to make sure they are healing properly, with deeper of bigger cuts going to the vet for.
