Question:
My 4 month old puppy is a lab/cocker mix. His feet smell really bad; as bad as my husband's running shoes! Can anyone tell me is this could be a medical question, or if there is a solution to getting the smell out? Thanks!

Do they smell like Fritos? ALL dog's feet smell like Fritos.

Puppies usually smell more strongly, so maybe that's why you are noticing it so much.

Check between his toes and make sure there is no infection or sores of any kind.

Probably quite normal, like LR says you can check yourself for obvious sores ets.
Sometimes food allergies manifest in itchy feet & somewhat itchy & smelly skin, but I believe 4 months is too young to have food allergies.

My "Den-Den 3" (poodle) had stinky feet. Never had foot problems, just "old man's feet" from the time he was a puppy til he died at 18. When we put him on the table at the vets, he'd actually leave moist paw prints when he got nervous. My first 2 Den-Dens didn't have it. Now we have "Den-Den 4". First time I smelled his little Frito feet, I couldn't believe how nostalgic I felt. His aren't as noticeable as 3's, but he has it too. I think it's that some dogs have more active sweat glands in the paws than others - same as people.

Yes, I've had 4 "Den-Den"s. All white poodles. And no, I wasn't trying to replace one dog with another. I just love that some things seem the same because of the breed and they've all been totally different from each other. The personality differences really stand out because of the physical similarities. They all have their own nicknames.

Now puppy breath, ahhh! I have alway's said..wish I could bottle it!
*Now re-thinking of where the puppy mouth has been.
