Update: Malibu

Question:
Malibu's body covered with small bumps so I called the Vet and he said he can check her for free. Then we took Malibu to the vet and the vet said she has allergic reaction. He took Rimadyl (100mg) away and prescribled Benadryl (50mg) and had her shot (Vetalog). So, Malibu seems okay and she has red dots on her chest where we can see clearly because of white markings. Poor her.

Now, I wanted to know if it's normal that we have to pay extra for the shot and medication? I don't mean to be greedy, but I just want to know if it's normal.

I'll update if anything appears.

Answer:
Yes, it's normal to pay for the shot and medication. You were lucky that the vet checked her for free.

Answer:
The check up is a vet set price, the shots and meds have to be paid by someone. You are very lucky that you got an exam for free, sounds like you have a wonderful vet

Answer:
Okay, now I know what to do with the vets. Yes, the dogs' vet is Dr. Bullard. He owns the animal hospital and he was on the magazine cover.
