Well started to get discouraged just by the run around of trying to get her help,my boyfriend got her in crate ok,went to humane society they told me i would have to sign her over ,then adopt her,so i fill out all the papers then they tell me there is no vet there on weekends,so vet tevh took her back and looked at her and told me it looked like an abcess she couldnt say for sure,but that was her guess,so i called a million vets and they were all like 80- 100 $$ just to walk in door(by the way she was so good i couldnt believe it) so finally found one got ther they shaved her paw and it looked like another cat just jammed its claw in there,so he aksed if i wanted pills or liquid,took liquid and told me to keep it clean,hard to do on a stray,give her the amoxacillian 2 x a day and clean 2 x a day.Well i go and by bactine to clean it not knowing it is gonna sting like s***,she let out a loud cry,i wanted to die,so got hydrogen peroxide and neosporin,not the easiest job in the world,i just pour the peroxide on it,gave up on trying to wipe it w/cotto n balls and then put neo on it,she doesnt mind to much,she actually is easier to handle then i thought.Not all of the medicine has made it down her throat,but most of it,now when she sees me come out w/it in my hand she trys to walk away,kind of funny,started walking on it a little bit,and the sweetest thing is when i am putting medicine in her mouth bob comes up and rubs his head on hers.....I took pictures of her paw will have later this week,thanks for all the nice words,i just didnt know if she was really ill or not.

Oh yeah also her eye was lookin normal when she went in,told me it could have been conjunctivitous,cleand it for me and cleaned her ears,all for $43.00 medicine included

I am really pretty happy,bob is so cute every time i am putting that medicine in her mouth he comes up smells it and rubs his head on hers,she is walking on it a little ,it looks pretty good to,i have not heard from the shelter and right now i am gonna let things be,now roxys brother is showing up ,i guess bob doesnt mind because he didnt chase him away,but that is a whole other situation i am gonna try to stay away from.Call it cruel but i just cant take her away from bob,unless i know they are gonna trap them and get rid of them i am gonna leave it the way it is right now..

It was a drive to i had to go probably just one way about 60 miles,couldnt find a reasonable vet anywhere,i dont know if that vet gave me discount cause she was a stray but i guess in the end i would of paid whatever,there was no way i could of taken her back home like that,and to see her walking on it a little is priceless,do you think dogs or cats know when you are doing something that is trying to get them better???

Thank you,i call her momma because i thought she was roxys mom,so i would always so hey momma,then i found out shes fixed,and just left it at momma.

Well her wound was healing good,but this morning it looks like she got the scab off,was totally open just like when the vet shaved the hair off and i saw it.So i dont know,doesnt look infected ,and she is walking on it,cant tell you how good that makes me feel,i hope the scab doesnt come off all the time..
