Hi, I am a new member. i am seeking advice on what I should do to make my pitbull more comfortable during childbirth(I mean puppybirth).She looks so miserable and she is due any day. I cleared an area with blankets and a gate,I give her belly massages but I don't know what else to do...Help

This is something you should be talking over with your vet.

Not to be rude, but may I ask why your dog is having puppies?

This is a pro spay/neuter board, so just about all of us don't condone breeding dogs except by reputable breeders (this means the dogs have been shown to championship, CERF/OFA certified, health tested and the owner has experience breeding dogs or an experienced and reputable breeder on hand).

I understand the dog is already about to give birth, but the best place to get info is from a good vet. Anything can go wrong during the birth of the puppies and you should have the number of a vet to call, or someone on hand if that does happen.
