What do you use for FLEA CONTROL???

Question:
With Flea season quickly approaching let's address the issue of what everyone uses...

In the past I have used Frontline plus... I have found however that it does not always work and #2 I am concerned about the "chemical warfare" I am putting on my dog (and cat)

Does anyone combat these little pests naturually and most important successfully?????

I have read about using garlic and brewers yeast in their food, etc.
but I am looking for some tried and true solutions.

Answer:
I use garlic myself, just a little bit (Bowser is a small dog) about once a week in his food, he just gobbles it up, and I never ever see fleas. If you have a flea infestation in your house, the garlic wont do much though, as they are more preventative.

Answer:
I have used Advantage on my cats for several years, but instead of every month in the summer,I use it only every second month(don't like pesticide on my cats)and it's done the trick. No Fleas!!

Answer:
I've always used Revolution, I like it because it also treats worms which they can pick up from fleas and ticks. Mine are not outdoors, but I have still managed to pick up fleas now and then, from visitors who don't treat their pets or some of the fosters I had. I have also used advantage on Fagan the past few months as it is supposed to deter them from jumping on in the first place and he has a severe allergy to flea bites.
As for the house I use VetChem spray I get from the vet, I use it on all baseboards, litter area, bedding and furniture. It dries quickly and lasts up to 7 months.
Oh and did I mention how much I HATE fleas....EW.
