Sorry to hear your having such a tough time...I am sure you will find out a lot of great information on this site! I am also reasonably new and find it a great source of information! I have read some posts about chemotherapy on here so you should find something...Once again welcome and be sure to post some pictures!! We will ALL be waiting! Cindy Answer: I have never personally had a pet with cancer but know se veral who have and work with humans who do (and have endured chemo myself). The experience of most seems to be that dogs and cats even more so do much better with chemo than we humans do. But depending on what type of meds (No chemo is alike) your vet plans - ask him what his protocol will be - and what effects to expect - and talk to others who have had pets with cancer. There is a goos web site called Punkie Louise about a cat who had cancer and I will attempt to find it for you - I am writing this fast since I am taking a quick break!! - she has some good links I think. http://www.barbarascamera.com/punkie.htm I am sorry to hear about the diagnosis but I have seen many miracles amg ppl and animals so never give up!!! Good luck!! Answer: Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
