Question:
my molly had somewhat of an episode today. she was walking and all of a sudden started jerking like a seizure and could not move for about ten minutes. i now notice a movable lump on her right chest. it sticks out and now her heart is beating fast all the time. she still is very active and eats plenty as before. can someone please give me an idea of what this may be? thanks a million.

I assume you've already made a vet appointment? IMO seizures mean an emergency vet call. A lot of times the cause will never be diagnosed and the dog will never have another. But in some cases the seizure is a HUGE warning and it's giving you a short window of time to get your pet in to see a vet before it's too late.

As for the lump it really could be anything. Because it moves easily it doesn't sound like a malignant tumour, but I honestly have no idea and I'm sure that tumours vary.

Has she eaten anything different lately? Had in injury? How old is she? How is her health in general?

I don't think that any of us can offer much help, but hopefully your vet will figure out what's wrong with Molly. Good luck.

Yikes.....she couldn't move for ten minutes? Run don't walk to your veterinarian if you haven't already, which in my opinon you should have made that trip already. Hope your dog is okay.
