Enzyme information would be appreciated..
Question: I have just started adding enzymes to Bobby's food - primarily to help his digestive system and to help clear his intestines. I'm using Organika from the Health Food store and I use about 1/8 tsp in each meal. It says for human adults to take 1 to 2 caps per day. Bobby gets 3/4 cup Go Natural (Salmon) in the morning and the same at night. I have just heard of an enzyme called Prozyme and wonder if it is a superior one to use or will any enzyme do the trick. The one he is on is to help with carbs, protein and fats. Your wisdom and suggestions are appreciated! Answer: I just started giving my dogs the enzymes also. These are the enzyme ingredients: Protease, Amylase, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lipase and Cellulase. This is from a company that makes them specifically for dogs and I've been using their vitamins and minerals for a long time. Am I allowed to say the name of the company? They get 1/8 teaspoon per 1 cup of food. Answer: I don't know the kind you are using, but I started my pup on prozyme a few weeks ago. It's made a HUGE difference for him! He is definitely absorbing nutrients better, he's digesting better, his tummy problems are better and he's overall a much healthier doggy than he was before. I don't know if it would be better than what you are currently using, but I can say that prozyme is excellent. Answer: That's good to hear that prozyme is working for you - Bobby has been on this enzyme for only 2 full days so it's too early to tell if it's making a difference. I think I will order a bottle of prozyme though - was told they are now offering a free bottle so I'll order one to try. Thanks... Answer: Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
