Question:
My 100 lb. Labrador Retriever, who is sweeter than sugar, and certainly much sweeter than the ENTIRE coconut pie he helped himself to last night, has been up since three this morning, throwing up remnants of our pie. He's also been drinking water incessantly. Is this just a typical stomach ache from eating too much sugar or could eating a coconut pie be more dangerous to his health than I am aware of????

I'm not a vet, but I'd think it's a case of indigestion coupled with an overdose of sugar!

My Ceasar survived the "coconut pie" ordeal. In fact, it was only a matter of hours before he was back to bouncing around the house, tail swiping contents off of the coffee table, and ready to eat whatever he could get his grubby paws on...with the exception of coconut pie!
