Question:
Ewww...

These two less than smart pigeons built a small nest and laid 2 eggs then abandoned them on my balcony. I hadn't got arround to cleaning it yet, but Odin wanted to go out and sit in the semi warmer air last night.

So I let him out..a few minutes later, he didn't comeback in (he usually comes back in with in a min), so I find him chewing on something...then I saw the egg shell!

so...he ate the pigeon egg..and then he threw up last nnight and this morning. Should I be worried??

I wouldn't worry. The egg shouldn't hurt him. It might not even be the reason that he vomitted.

If it keeps up or if he goes off his food or develops diarrhea you might want to call the vet. His stomach is probably just a little queasy because he ate something different.

My dog has eaten the same thing more then once, (I take him to an off leash park daily), and he is always fine after it. Just be sure to watch him for a while and bring him to vet if anything out of ordinary should occur. My vet told me they can digest the shell and not to worry. Good luck!

hasnt puked tonight at all. But he wants back on the balcony for the other egg i think. lol

you need to keep an eye on him......watch for sudden signs of wanting to sit on ledges and poop on everything
