Hearing loss after long flight

Question:
My dog has just recently made the trip from Vancouver, Canada to Wellington, New Zealand. She seems to been fine, with one exception...I belief she has lost some/most of her hearing. The vets doing her checks here for her in-processing noted nothing unusual in her ears, and her ears do not appear sore, irritared, dirty, or otherwise to be botrhering her.

The dog is a King Ch. Spaniel/mini-poodle mix. She is 11 yrs old, but in excellent health.

The flight was 5 weeks ago, so would expect any short-term ear blocks to have cleared.

Is loss of hearing common with pets taking long flights? Is there anything I can do for this?

Thanks

Answer:
I don't know for pets, but my step-cousin's ear drums were both permanently damaged on a flight from Toronto, Ontairo to Sydney, Austrailia. They didn't burst, but were torn and they they became scarred over a few weeks.

She was told it is rare, but there was nothing that could be done to treat it.
