Three cats
Question: At this stage I have got 2 female cats. Both of them got fixed. The two darlings can get sometimes into a nasty fight. Anyway I am thinking of getting a male kitten, as they say that a baby kitten won't get harmed by the older ones (in my case 3 & 4yrs). Now my question is, will this help a little with calming the females down? And does actualy having a trio work or are there any problems that I need to be aware off. Just to give a little summery, the 3 year old, she is very dominant and the other female well she always seems to come short, due to the fact that Dominant one is ruling the house. Even the breeder confirmed that to me and that is why she gave her away has she was even bidding up her own kittens. Anway the room that she lived in was full of females hardly any males. I hope you can help me to make the right decision for my two cats. Cause if third cat will create problems than I rather forget getting one for the sake of my other two. regards Iris Widrig Answer: lets face it...you never know what you will get....you might get a good kitten or one with a difficult personality. A third kitten might help the situation...but it could easily aggravate the situation. Personally i would only get a third kitten if i wanted a third kitten......not for the chance that it may help a difficult situation fester Answer: thanks for the info, actually to be honest, I dreamed of a third kitten for a long time and have allready got one in mind which will be born end of April. I will need to wait until July before take him home - if there is a boy in the litter of course. Answer: Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
