Question:
Ok, so my Levi has been diagnosed with IBD and I was wondering if anyone has experience with a dog recovering from IBD. She has lost lots of weight and was not eating. She is now on prednisone and has gotten her appetite back but does not want to eat any of the food I offer her. I have tried a few different canned foods, all with nouvel proteins or hypoallergenic. She is not interested in eating them, she may try some in her mouth then spit it out.
Does anyone else have a rough timeline for recovery, how long before she starts putting on weight. She is also really weak from anoxeria, vomiting and diarrhea for so long, how long before she may start regaining her strength?
Any help would be appreciated and helpful suggestions for food that may help since she doesn't like any and her stools are still loose.

Could you do some home cooking for her, rotating foods? I found this info on what one person cooks for her dogs with IBD.
