Boxer troubles
Question: Our Boxer pup will be a year old next week, he has red mange and is taking Ivermectin every day as prescribed. He has been vomitting about once a week for a month now, our vet keeps saying he must be getting into something. However, a week ago we found three lumps along his spine, we waited to see if they would go away becuase we thought they may be flee bites and we had just treated him. Today we found four more lumps. We can not make it to the vet until Thursday. IF anyone has an idea of what to do for our pup please respond! Answer: Find someone who can look at him now!!!! Seriously! Cause if he is getting these lumps that quick I would be worried what he will be like by thursday. Answer: Oh dear, I wonder do you think it may be a reaction to the medication now? Mange can be very difficult to treat, and sometimes the treatment for it can cause troubles as well. I know this may be difficult but if you have a camera take a picture of the bumps, if you can spread his coat enough to show them and post it for us to see. Answer: Did a search again: http://www.marvistavet.com/html/ivermectin.html http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/d...di/202311.html http://www.rxlist.com/cgi/generic3/ivermectin_ad.htm Answer: Thank's Amaruq...I was reading about Clomipramine on that site and found out it can cause seizures in cats, exactly what Rocky had when on the meds.
