10 year old golden biting family member
Question: I have a 10 year old golden retriever, she recently sleeps alot and she sometimes has mini seizures and falls over and we have to catch her. Today my 24 year old son went to pet her when she was on her run outside, and she attacked him. She has never bitten anyone in all the time that we have had her. I was wondering if there was something nuerologically wrong with her could it cause her to bite. She definatley broke skin on her bite. We are so concerned that this is gonna be a problem. We have a lot of neighborhood kids that come around and we do not want anyone to get hurt. I am also very concerned for my dog. Answer: Have you taken her to the vets for the seizures? Are you sure they are seizures and not strokes? Absolutely there could be brain damage. If you haven't taken them to the vet I suggest you do so ASAP! Answer: She needs to see a vet. Something is wrong. Answer: Have you taken her to the vet for her seizures? They can definitely cause these fits of aggression. You need to take her to the vet asap. It's possible simple medication may stop this behavior completely. Answer: My Dog was at the Vet 2 mon ago and they said that she was healthy, but I am going to take her again. Thanks for the advice Answer: Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
