Infrequent dog vomiting- vet already seen
Question: My Australian cattle mix, who is 1 1/2 years old, starting vomiting about once a week a few months ago. I took her to the vet, and many tests were done (blood work, x-rays,etc.). The vet found nothing. Since then, I've changed her diet to Nutra with oatmeal and give her nothing else. Last week, she started to vomit more frequently; it's usually just bile, very occasionally food. She is completely normal otherwise, with a healthy weight, appetite and interest in playing. I really have no money (including no room on my credit card) and am at a loss. Any advice you can give is much appreciated. Answer: What did the vet suggest though? Answer: How often are you feeding her? If the vet found nothing wrong, maybe a change in feeding schedule might help. Some dogs will vomit bile if their stomachs get too empty. If you are feeding once a day, try 2 or 3 small meals instead - same amount of food, just divide it. Answer: Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
