Question:
HELP!!! I dont know what to do in this situation.. I did not get his last shots before he was to turn one.. the shot where you have to bring in a sample of his stool. I was moving from London, to Hamilton, and I didnt go to the vet before I left.. He is 10.5 months. I dont know if it was because of his shot that I didnt get him, but I was told by friends (not vets) that if he is an indoor cat then you dont need them.. is this true? What i could suppose the problem is: he runs out in the garage everytime someone opens the door, he could have eaten something out there... When i came in from the hot tub, i picked him up cuz he was on the table.. and then i saw him licking himself (could have been the chlorine).. he has been eating the same bag of food for a month.. i have no idea other than that..

Answer:
If the garage is housing your car and chemical agents ie: antifreeze, oils, fertilizers, gardening weed killers and other.... your cat could have gotten into something poisonous!

Your car may have a leak, the cat could have licked the ground!

Any number of issues here, may not even be garage related.

Don't let him in the garage, be mindful where he is when the door is opened. If you suspect he got into something in the garage it could kill him and you need to take him to the vet immediately.
