moved thread - Husky w/skin problems
Question: May 16th, 2004, 10:41 PM skin problems -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello; My friend of 14 years, a male husky, seems to have a lite yellow crust from under his belly and up the sides of his body. I was wondering of this could be a fungus problem? I started to bathe him with a anti-fungus shampoo to see if this helps to clean it up. He seems to have fur falling out as well and is allmost bald at the side where this stuff is crawling along. He has a habbit of rolling in the grass and often the grass is not dry and because his fur is really long i thought that this would make the right conditions for fungus to grow. He has a tail that used to be big and bushy and now looks like a twig with some fur on it but his thyroid level seems to be ok so i am turning to you for some advise on what to do for him. Thanks, Gerald Ford. Princesss04 I would tell your friend to get him to the vet ASAP. Good luck and I hope all works out for you. Does he seem to be in pain or hurting?
