My dog is a 3 year old Lab. For the last two nights she has been sick. Last night she was up for 4 hours starting at 2 am. She could not lay down and kept changing positions. She had occasional stomach covulsions. She kept asking to be let out and would walk around in the yard voraciously eating grass. This morning we found undigested clumps of grass all over the yard.
She is very intelligent and i get the sense that she was trying to calm her stomach and perhaps throw up. She had thrown up the night before. We checked her dog food and it seemed alright and we do not feed her table scraps.

My 3 y.o. Lab is eating a lot of grass as well. My vet said that in the spring it is common for dogs to "graze" on grass. She asked me if he got out into ponds and springs a lot (he does) and that the water has microorganisms that can be somewhat upsetting to his stomach, so he grazes. He doesn't vomit from the grass, though, so that is worrisome. Fingers crossed that everything is fine.
