Question:
My cat is 11 yrs. old and we went to the vet today, they took blood, but not much help as of yet. She is having a hard time walking, favoring right rear leg, I have been searching on the net and have found this site...going back to Dr. in am...he suggested that I try cortisone shot and I am not willing to do that at this point in time...any suggestions, or have you had similar problems? She has an appetite, not vomiting, regular stool, strong femoral pulse...just don't know???

Did the vet take x-rays or examine the leg? Arthritis is a possibilty. Was that mentioned?
