Is there any insect control (mostquitos, ect) that is safe to use on my dog and cats. I also have a new puppy and want to keep them protected from insect bites.

Answer:
There are insect repellants made for animals, but as long as your dog is on heartworm prevention, and kept inside at night, it's not really necessary.

Mosquito bites don't bother cats and dogs, and unless they are being attacked by black flies, I wouldn't worry about it.

The exception would be tiny puppies left out all the time who could literally be drained of blood and made anemic by mosquitos, or be victimized by biting flies and fleas.

My puppy is a Jack Russell terrier that was abandoned at a store and we just happened to stop by the store and were asked if we had wanted to have him. He is only aroung 8 weeks old and really cute. I just love him.
