Very sick dalmatian!! HELP

Question:
Please, Please help.
I posted around a week ago about my sick dalmatian female, Persia. Thank you for your responses. Unfortunately, she died, and we are all heartbroken. But our problems haven't ended there. Persia's mom, Sultana, is 10 years old, and she's started having the same symptoms. One vet says it's a bladder infection, and the other says it's a uterine infection and she has to have a hysterectomy. Like I posted before, I'm in Egypt, and the veterenary care here is abysmal. We are terrified that we're going to lose Sultana too. I'll list her symptoms and maybe someone can help me:

She has a fever (38 celcius)
she's shivering (3 days now, before it was only at night, but now it's getting worse)
She's drinking a lot of water and peeing a lot (but she doesn't seem to be in any pain when peeing, and she's not hunching over her back)
She's panting
She's only just vomited once, but that was today and we're worried it will get worse like it did with Persia
She's started to lose her appetite
She has a discharge from her vagina (She was in heat last month, and it hasn't completely stopped, but now it is getting to be very very dark -almost black - blood clots, usually when she pees)
She is still very alert, she moves around normally, wags her tail at us, but when she's lying down she starts shivering, and she seems to be in pain.
Her abdomen isn't swollen

If anyone out there can help me with a diagnosis I would really really appreciate it. We don't want to lose her too, it's like losing another one of our children. I'm desperate. I don't want to operate on her here because I know so many dogs who have died as a result of operations here, and if I can minimize this risk I will. She's on an antibiotic right now, called Augmentin, 3 times a day.
Thanks

Answer:
If she has a uterine infection, spaying is your best option. Sorry. With the dark, clotting blood, that is what I would be most worried about. Again, I am not a vet, so it would be impossible to say for sure.

I have enclosed another link for you. If you scroll down it, you will find a product called PARVAID which I have heard that several people have used to fight parvovirus. I have heard many more good things about it then bad.

It is not cheap and I can't guarantee that it will work, just that I have heard a lot of people say that is worked well.

Dear Sandi,
Thanks once again for your reply. It looks like she has pyometra. We're trying to treat it with antibiotics. We've given her all kinds of tests, and her blood test indicates a serious infection (very high white blood cell count). But because of her age, her general condition and the state of veterinary care here we are very concerned about putting her through a major operation. I'm too scared that she won't survive a hysterectomy here, and even the vet has agreed that her chances for making it would be pretty slim. She's having ultrasound today to try and see how advanced it is. We're praying for the best. We haven't even had a chance to grieve for Persia, and now we're terrified about losing Sultana too. It's funny how much a part of my life (my emotions, my history) she is. Thanks again for replying.
Bye
Nihal

I belong to a rottweiler group online. This is what a vet who is a member of the group said.

If the cervix is open, prostaglandin shots can be given for several days to stimulate smooth muscle contractions and drainage. This has to be done in conjunction with the antibiotics (usually a combination since the bacteria is highly resistant). If the treatment is successful you have a reasonable chance of a pregnancy by breeding on the next heat. However, if she does not conceive, or is not bred, the liklihood of another pyometra is high. Without the prostaglandin shots to empty the uterus, antibiotics by themselves are very unlikely to cure pyometra. And since pyo usually develops weeks to months AFTER a heat, waiting for her to come back in heat again is not a viable option - she probably won't live that long.

I know it doesn't sound very promising, bit it may give you some information that you did not have.

OH dear I'm so very sorry! I wish I could offer advise but I really don't have any for you, however you have my emotional support. I am so sorry!

Answer:
I don't know about the condition, but I hope she gets well.

Answer:
It sounds like your vet is concerned. What is the cause of poor veterinary care in Egypt? Is it lack of equipment? Training? Sanitary conditions? This must be horribly frustrating and terrifying for you. :( I feel for you and Sultana!
