Fixed cat urinating in house

Question:
Why would a male cat that has been neutered uninate in the house? And what can we do to eliminate the problem? Thanks for any imput to the problem.

Is this something new? Neutered male cats VERY commonly get urinary problems - stones, crystals, infection - and all of these will cause him to avoid the litterbox.

What are you feeding him and how old is he?

Time for a vet visit asap!

Also, keep in mind that some cats, both male and female, will "mark" their territory on occasion. Not all cats do, but some. Has something changed in his environment that may have triggered this?

Is he peeing or spraying?There is a difference,peeing he will almost sit,spraying he'll lift his hindleg and spray on vertical surfaces.....
If he is peeing he'll need a vet....ASAP

If your cat has a painful problem, he will avoid using the litter box because he associates it with pain. If he is actualy peeing, then he needs to go to the vet.
