I just got a 9 week old female sheltie. she doesn't seem interested in her wate bowl. she drinks, but not very much. she doesn't look or feel dehydrated, but how much is a new puppy supposed to be drinking?

Is she peeing?

As long as she's peeing, pooping and eating normally you have nothing to worry about. I don't imagine you're watching her 24/7 with the water intake either. Measure the water you put inher bowl and figure it out every time you change it.

You can always try wetting her kibble if your worried she is not drinking enough
