Question:
I adopted two puppies who have two types of worms and something called coccidia?? They are on meds now and the vet said to wear socks around the house as the parasites may be transmissable to humans -- I have been housetraining these puppies and since they are now "going" in my yard -- how safe is my yard now -- the vet said they live in a moist environment -- we have a pool and my little girl likes to be barefoot outside -- how safe is my yard now for her?? How long is it possible for parasites to live in my yard? Vet said it was safe for her to play with them but I am worried about how safe my yard is now.

Thanks at least I know now that my daughter is safe The vet did not mention the one it said is passable to humans
